When I was a child, I received a small black plastic camera for Christmas from my brother. Much to my Mother's dismay, I promptly used-up the entire roll of film photographing everything I loved about my childhood home from the wreath on the frontdoor to the vintage bobblehead Rudolph on top of the television. Today, my love of photography has combined with my love of children.

Children are completely unpredictable, and I love that! As a mother of two children and an Elementary Music Teacher, I take that to heart on a daily basis. I understand that children need to move around and have fun in order to be themselves. During a photography session, I am prepared to crawl around in the dirt following a little boy on a worm hunt, and I will happily chatter away with a little girl about which Disney princess I would be if the opportunity should ever arise. (I do have all the movies!)
